The Apex is a traditional top loader with a detachable SlingShot lid that doubles as a daypack. There''s an internal sleeve and port designed for hydration reservoirs, as well as a zippered bottom compartment for sleeping pads. Mountainsmith designed the waistbelt''s pocket for smartphones as large as the Galaxy S6. The Apex also has a front mesh stash pocket for layers, and a side pocket for water bottles.
