Scott's Vertic Tour series was designed to bridge the gap between their freeride and mountaineering line and the Men's Vertic Tour Pant does just that. With a three-layer Gore-Tex shell and Gore C-Knit backer technology, these pants repel moisture and breathe well to effectively manage temperature regulation while you're sweating up a storm on the skintrack or slashing lift-accessed pow like there's no tomorrow. Articulated knees provide unrestricted mobility while you're cruising along the uptrack, and Cordura-reinforced ankle gaiters provide abrasion resistance from sharp edges. The adjustable bib and suspenders work to keep snow out in case you huck it too far and explode on landing, but it can be removed if you want to cut down on bulk.
