Brand introduction
Mr. Randy Merrell, founder of MERRELL, began making custom-made boots in the 1970s in Vernal, Utah.
His boots familiar with the outdoors since childhood became popular in the United States, and in 1981 it was named "The most functional and comfortable shoes in North America" in the "Backpacker magazine" magazine.
Two outdoor freaks who saw this article invited Randy Merrel and founded a new company MERRELL for boots.
