EMAD is a proprietary sound control system of EVANS and comes with two urethane mute rings (damping rings) of different widths that can be exchanged without removing the bass drum head, and it is easy to match the degree of mute of your choice

With 10 mil, 1 ply film, it is possible to make various sounds with one bass drum head by using two detachable damping rings from open sound to tight attack, fat sound with low end effected
In the coated head, the warmth and depth of the tone are increasing.
GMAD is 12 mil, 1 ply film, adding punch and low end to the original EMAD, giving you more powerful sound.
Durability is also up 20%.
EMAD 2 uses 6.5 mil outer, 10 mil inner, 2 ply film to further enhance attack and durability.
