Product Description

This Pax 8'' Dovetail Saw is a fine saw for dovetail work. Back is rolled solid brass. The folded brass back keeps blade in tension offering excellent rigidity and balance. The weight of the brass back also aids the fine cutting ability of this saw. Split screws and caps are solid brass. Saw plate is 0.022 inches thick with just 0.003 inch set per side for a smooth and controlled cut. Each saw is hand sharpened and tested before leaving the factory. Saw weighs in at 15 ounces. The handle is made from the finest steamed Beech with a two-tone gloss finish. Blade depth is 2 1/4 inches with 20 tpi as standard.
