Studio : Arc'teryx Publisher : Arc'teryx Binding : Misc. Product Description Weather patterns in the alpine can be unpredictable, at best, so choosing between a hardshell and softshell can be a tough call. The Arc'teryx Men's Procline Comp Jacket uses composite mapping for waterproof protection where you need it when the weather turns foul, along with the stretch and breathability of a softshell where you want it for the ascent.A three-layer Gore-Tex shell with a tricot backing at the hood, shoulders, and along the hem, provides hard-wearing protection from snow, wind, and mank. Fortius 1. 0 softshell material at the back and underarms provides freedom of movement when the ascent turns technical; it also increases breathability. The trim fit allows the jacket to be comfortably worn over midlayers, but it keeps the jacket close-fitting enough to maintain a low-bulk fit. Features on the jacket include a helmet-compatible hood, removable Hemlock inserts, which keep the jacket down when worn with a harness, and pack- and harness-compatible pockets. Weather-resistant zippers make for a water-tight closure, and the drop back hem offers additional coverage when you bend down to make adjustments to gear. 0
