Too many times there were whiskers left behind, and the cleaning system, while seems like a good idea, has too many problems. First the manual that came with it leaves the impression that all the units dry after cleaning, but if you will look at the other shavers on the website, only the most expensive shavers will dry themselves after cleaning. Mine stays wet for over 24 hours. So with paying over $140.00 for this unit, it should at least do what the manual says. If you are considering buying a Braun shaver system, please read all the info. on all the shavers, or you will get stuck with one you are not happy with. I love how close it shaves him and he is not going through disposable razors like crazy. I recommended this razor to my brother who got some weird infection in his face from using a disposable razor, we just love it.
