Product Description

These rare beautiful hand-made mini MJ Egyptian Mini Totes were designed by Marc Jacobs and hand-made in Cairo, Egypt. Since each MJ Egyptian mini tote is one-of-a-kind and hand-made, each one will be slightly different in variation from each other, but each mini tote is similarly multicolored and approximately sized. The pictures are indicative of the mini tote you will receive. In collaboration with Marc Jacobs and the Association for the Protection of the Environment, this project helps support one of the world's most efficient re-cycling industry in Cairo. The "Association for the Protection of the Environment" (APE) is working to improve their living conditions and, in the words of UNESCO, to restitute some of their human dignity. The magnificent achievement of this unique community and the works of the APE have attracted the attention of the international community. The attention has turned into acknowledgment and the acknowledgment into numerous international awards.
