Iron On Instructions:

At Iron On Nation (I.O.N), we offer high quality iron on patches with detailed embroidery to our customers. To achieve the best result with our iron on patches, please read the following instructions carefully.

Precautions:

High temperature is required for the ironing process. Choose fabrics such as denim and cotton that can withstand high heat to achieve the best result with our iron on patches. Applying high heat to polyester fabrics may burn the fabric or cause it to get discolored. Silk and other delicate fabrics are not suitable bases for iron on patches. Sewing or gluing our iron on patches is an alternative.

Ironing Process:

Ensure that the patch is flat against a hard surface. To do so, lay your item on a flat, heat resistant surface such as an ironing board.
Spray a little water on the adhesive side of the patch. Then, place the patch in your chosen position, with the adhesive side flat against the base fabric.
Set your iron to "Cotton". Steam is NOT required, so do take note the "Steam" option is turned off and that your iron is not full of water. Heat for about 5 minutes.
Place a thin towel over the patch.
Position the heated iron over the patch and press down firmly for about 15 to 20 seconds.
Remove the iron and lift the towel to check whether the patch is firmly affixed on the fabric. Do this by gently rubbing at the edge with a finger. If it lifts up a bit, replace the towel and press it with iron again for another 10 to 15 seconds. (Warning: The iron on patch may be hot, please take precaution when touching it)
Repeat steps 4 to 6 until the iron on patch is fixed on securely. You may iron on the opposite side for about 20 to 30 seconds for more reinforcement.
Allow the patch to cool completely.

Caring for your patch:

When washing, always turn your garment inside out and use a gentle wash cycle with cold water. Alternatively, you may hand wash it using cold water. Allow for air dry.
Do not bleach. Do not put into dryer.
After a few washes, if the iron on patches have lifted, repeat steps 1 to 8 of Ironing Process.
