The outer LUX cover is our softest cover yet, featuring suede-like microfiber siding and a plush, faux-fur top that your dog will just love to sink into. The orthopedic mattress is composed of two layers: a 1.5" thick top layer of memory foam (4.5 lb/sq in density) for comfort atop a 3.5" thick layer of dense support foam for optimal support. Other beds that use cheap shredded foam or solid memory foam will flatten out or let the dog sink to the floor in a matter of months. Ours, on the other hand, are built to last for years. We're so confident in our beds that we guarantee all of our orthopedic mattresses against flattening for ten years. This bed is perfect for big, heavy dogs, older, arthritic dogs, and dog breeds prone to hip and joint problems-in fact, it's simply so comfortable that you might just want to use it yourself! A water-resistant liner is included with the mattress to protect the foam from spills and accidents.

Our LUX beds are manufactured from upholstery-grade, 100% synthetic materials that are both hypo-allergenic and easy to wash. Simply remove the cover from the mattress and wash in cold water on a delicate cycle, and it'll come out looking just like new! These covers are made to be durable against everyday wear-and-tear, but they are NOT designed to withstand chewing, digging, or other purposefully destructive activities, and they are not covered by our Chew-Proof Guarantee.
