BabyRice Clay-Dough is specially formulated to easily take the impressions of babies hand and footprints - it is super soft and squidgy and is really lightweight. You do not need to press baby's hand/foot into it hard to get an impression, which is a common problem with other prints kits, just a gentle press is all that's needed. It's totally safe to use on the newest newborn skin and it is air drying too - so there's no need for any baking!

Each supplied pack of clay-dough will easily produce 4-6 different hand and foot imprints of a newborn baby and quite possibly more. Any extras you make can be made into separate display pieces, some examples are given in the instructions included in this kit.

The clay dough is ready to use straight from the pack, just pull off what you need for the 1st set of print/prints (wrapping the rest in cling-film to use later), knead it a little, roll it out with your hands or use a rolling pin for a smooth surface, then gently press baby's hand or foot into it. If you're not happy with the print, just simply knead and roll it again and keep taking prints until you're happy with them! Then leave the clay-dough with imprints to dry out naturally.

The air drying process can take up to a week to completely dry out depending on the thickness of the prints' base you've made and the temperature/humidity of the room it's left in, but once dried, you'll have an everlasting keepsake of your baby's tiny hand and foot imprints.

The clay-dough can also be used for pet pawprints too.
