Game controller requires an Android 4.0+ (Ice Cream Sandwich and upwards) device with a complete Bluetooth stack that supports the HID Gamepad profile. The standard Android Open Source Project (AOSP) supports the HID Gamepad profile out of the box. However, some OEMs have not included all Bluetooth profiles in their device’s Bluetooth stacks, which leads to compatibility issues with the game controller. Most of the time this already shows that even after connecting your game controller you cannot use your game controller to navigate through the Android menus. Unfortunately recent reports have shown us that a lot of Chinese manufacturers have been doing this. So please take caution if your phone is not manufactured by a well-known brand.
