Hybrid CMOS AF III features rapid autofocusing in live view while shooting stills or tracking subjects during movie shooting even when subject is off center of the frame. In combination with touchscreen LCD panel, advance movie recording is made accessible even for entry users.

A versatile standard zoom for Canon APS-C-format DSLRs, the EF-S 18-55mm f/4-5.6 IS STM Lens is a sleek and flexible option for everyday shooting. Spanning a 28.8-88mm equivalent focal length range, this lens covers wide-angle to portrait-length perspectives, and features an Optical Image Stabilizer to minimize the appearance of camera shake by up to four stops for sharper handheld shooting. Additionally, a lead screw-type stepping motor (STM) is used for notably smooth, quiet, and precise autofocus performance.

Standard zoom lens designed for APS-C-format Canon DSLRs, this 18-55mm lens provides a 28.8-88mm focal length range.

Lead screw-type STM offers especially quiet and smooth autofocus performance to benefit both stills and video use.

Optical Image Stabilizer compensates for up to four stops of camera shake for sharper imagery when shooting handheld in difficult lighting conditions.
