The deep rich flavor of Ghirardelli Sweet Ground Cocoa creates the intense chocolate experience bakers prize and chocolate-lovers cherish. The cocoa is alkalized through the Dutch process for a product perfect for either baking or chocolate beverages. We then blend just the right amount of sugar and real vanilla and add real chocolate for an intensely rich and perfectly balanced chocolate taste.

Suggested Use

Ghirardelli Chocolate Frosting

  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 3 Tbsp milk
  • 1/3 cup Ghirardelli Sweet Ground Cocoa
  • 2 1/2 cup confectioner's sugar
  • Dash salt
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract

Combine butter milk and Sweet Ground Cocoa in saucepan; stir over very low heat just until butter melts. Remove from heat. Add confectioners' sugar salt and vanilla; beat until smooth.

Other Ingredients

Sugar cocoa-processed with alkali unsweetened chocolate soy lecithin - an emulsifier vanilla.

May contain tree nuts wheat dairy and egg.
