There was nothing i could do to make the glide smoother, it was terrible. Now i have numerous small open wounds all over my head. DO NOT BUY IF YOU SHAVE ANYTHING OTHER THAN YOUR FACE and probably not even that! They are not worth the discomfort for the cheap price.
