Product DescriptionThe Salomon Quest 4D 2 GORE-TEX® backpacking boots are designed to handle rough terrains while hiking. They feature a patchwork upper of textile and velvety nubuck leather, for a smooth finish. A mud guard base and gusseted tongue prevents dirt from entering these boots through their lace eyelets and upper. Featuring a GORE-TEX® Performance Comfort Footwear membrane, these boots retain heat and resist water for a comfortable trekking escapade. They come with a thermoplastic urethane midsole that features the patent 4D Advanced Chassis technology. This provides torsional stability and lowers ankle strain. Additionally, the patent non-marking Contagrip outsoles help maintain gait on rocky or wet ground. The Rubber toe and heel counter supplement grip. These boots feature an OrthoLite sock liner that keeps your feet breathable even under extreme temperatures.
Fit: This style tends to run small. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size larger than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7, we recommend purchasing a size 7 1/2.
