The Epox Carbotec table tennis blade from DONIC is constructed with soft carbon fibre, which is more elastic than ordinary carbon fibre. This produces a lively blade with good feel despite it being stiff. The soft carbon fibre lies between the Kiri centre veneer and an Ayous middle veneer. This is the reason that it is somewhat softer and easier to control than the EPOX Powercarbon.
The ideal blade for attacking players who value spin and speed variation. The new Formula DONIC rubbers such as Coppa JO Platin Soft, Sonex JP Gold or Coppa JO Silver are a perfect match for the Epox Carbotec blade. NOTE: A table tennis "Blade" is the wood only. No rubber is applied to this blade.
