What is Eyeliner Embroidery??
Eyeliner embroidery is a semi-permanent makeup usually done either on the top of the upper eye line or outer half of the lower eye line to make the eyes look more define, awake and refresh.
Beauty Recipe uses organic plants dye with a machine to do the eyeliner embroidery. Color will not change over time and more lasting. With organic plant dye, you need not worry about skin sensitivity issues.
What are the usual questions that people are concern?
How long does it last? 5 years and more depending on skin type.
Does it changes colour over time? No. It will stay black as Beauty Recipe only believe in using high quality material which will not change color over time.
How long does it swell for? Mild swelling about 2 days.
Is the process painful? High Quality Numbing Cream is applied to prevent pain. We use 3 stage of numbing in between the treatment to further numb as we want our customer as comfortable as possible to make the experience painless. Our machine and our Korean technique used is fast while effective for color absorption which will reduce swelling down as much as possible.
How long is the process? About 15 mins numbing cream + 10 minutes for each eyes + 10 minutes for color absorb enhancement = 45 mins to 1 hour
Can I choose the thickness of the eyeliner done? If you like, the eyeliner therapist will draw the eyeliner for you first for you to see the exact effect, shape and thickness before starting the process. This is to ensure 100% satisfaction with the customers.
Should I go for upper liner or lower liner or both? Upper line is always encouraged because it will surely make a big difference to beautify and define your eyes. For Lower eyeliner, the eyeliner therapist will have to look at the shape of the eyes and the age of the customer in order to advise if it is suitable as not everyone will look good with lower eyeliner.
Will it be natural looking? Of course it will, just look at some the photos samples below. We are extremely proud of our works!

To be honest, I am someone who is super scared of pain and I have got very sensitive eyes so I hesitate for a long time regarding eyeliner embroidery. But after seeing so many of my customers doing eyeliner embroidery, the after effect is really nice and natural. Although my eyes are not small, but because of the shape of my eyes, my eyes look sleepy so every time before I go out, I will always need to draw eyeliner. This is how the eyeliner machine looks like and we put new needle inside it for every eyeliner embroidery. At Beauty Recipe whether it is eyebrow, lip or eyeliner embroidery, we use brand new needles and blades packet and stored individually which we MUST open up right in front of the eyes of our customers and then thrown away after use. WE DO NOT REUSE! Hygiene of all sterile materials and Professionalism is our priority! We want customer to feel safe and happy when they come us.
Numbing cream is applied for about 15 – 20 minutes until I don’t feel anything before starting. High Quality Numbing Cream is applied to prevent pain. 3 stage of added numbing in between the treatment to further numb to let the experience be as comfortable as possible and painless. New Korean technique step added is used for fast and effective color absorption which will reduce any swelling or redness as much as possible. I can feel ticklish feeling towards the end of the session on my lash line. The experience therapist is fast with their hands that it was over and done with very quickly. Hahaa!!!
Below photos show my eyes straight away after the eyeliner embroidery session being done. Although I have sensitive skin, I am really surprised that there is not much swelling at all.

*But do note that swelling varies with different people. I have seen customers walking out with totally no swelling at all and I have seen customers who swell more than the others*
