Product Description
KRILL VS. FISH OIL
Sports Research Krill oil is made with Superba® a superior form of sustainable Krill Oil sourced from the pristine Southern Ocean in Antarctic. Krill Oil omega-3s are better recognized by the body than Fish because they are attached to phospholipids, allowing for better assimilation into the cells. Powered by these phospholipids, Superba® Krill ensures the delivery of key fatty acids to various parts of the human body, such as the brain, heart and joints*
CLINICALLY PROVEN
The Omega-3 Index is a diagnostic tool that provides feedback on an individual's omega-3 status by recording the % concentration of omega-3 in red blood cells. In a study comparing SuperbaTM Krill (the brand used in our product) vs.omega-3 enriched fish oil, the volunteers taking SuperbaTM Krill increased their omega-3 index by almost 70% more than volunteers taking fish oil at the end of the 8 week study. So even though Krill oil delivers lower amounts of EPA and DHA on a gram per gram basis compared to fish oil, the more efficient absorbing omega -3 phospholipids only found in Krill Oil are better incorporated into the cell membranes than the omega-3 triglycerides found in Fish.
DOUBLE STRENGTH
Each liquid softgel contains 1000mg of pure Superba® Krill Oil, double the amount of any other brand with the highest levels per capsule of naturally occurring EPA, DHA and Phospholipids.
