Ministry of Food Pte Ltd (MOF) was first incorporated on May 5, 2006 in Singapore. Its first outlet MOF @ My Izakaya began in the same year at Marina Square.

The "My Izakaya" concept successfully brings mass culture Japanese cuisine in Singapore to greater heights with its aim to create a healthy, wholesome and charming dining experience, which emphasise no added MSG, chemicals, preservatives, artificial colourings or flavourings, and an emphasis on fresh ingredients always.
Coupled with affordable pricing and a customer service team ready to serve with a smile, MOF has thus gained a following among diners of all ages in Singapore who appreciate the quality and value of Japanese food.
MOF @ Japanese Sweets & Coffee was subsequently opened in June 2008 at Lot 1 Shoppers Mall in sub-urban Singapore. To date, there are five such cafe outlets all around Singapore!
Regionally, MOF is set to make its mark in the F&B industry as its opens more locations in Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam.
In November 2009, Ministry of Food (MOF) proudly launched LENAS as one of our newest Italian-American concept to the MOF family, with its first outlet in Singapore at Bugis Junction. Shortly after a year, MOF launched our second LENAS outlet at Serangoon NEX, in December 2010.
It is the latest addition in our ever expanding MOF Group of restaurants and is the brainchild of our founder Ms Lena Sim, who drew from her vast dining experiences around the world to create this restaurant named after her. Having proved herself a success with the MOF chain of Japanese restaurants and cafés, she has decided to make her mark in the western cuisine scene and create a restaurant that caters to her customers’ needs for delicious but reasonably priced Italian-American dishes in an exciting atmosphere with good service.
