Size Mark and measurement
The size mark is measured from the middle hole to the buckle end of strap, this belt gives you an adjustable size range as described, which also marked on the back of strap, the maximum size mark is at the buckle end of the strap and sometimes inside the ratchet of buckle. it is the optimize waist size this belt fitting to.

One Size Bigger
Normally, while you select the belt, always take 1 size (approx 2") bigger than your waist size to allow adjustability, or if you are not sure, order even a longer one and later on you can easily trim it to your desired size according to the size mark. otherwise, in case it is too short, it may not fit you and never can be adjusted back.

Trim to fit
The size mark on the strap is measured from the middle hole to the marked line, while trim to fit your size, please find your desired size and then select the rigth size mark on the strap the cut accordingly, it is so easy ,but you must make clear of your pant size, and cut accordingly, otherwise, in case you cut it wrong too short, it would not grow back any more.

Attention
To avoid the strap slipping off from buckle, normally the ratchet is certain tightly fixed on the strap, while you need to take off the strap from the ratchet box for size adjustment, please find a proper tool such as thin screw-driver or tweezers, and open it slowly to avoid hurting yourself or scratching the buckle;
