The Ultim 340 HD is a standard model equipped with a 3 way tripod head for movie support on a small basic tripod of four stage type emphasizing shrinkage adopting an AMT alloy pipe with a maximum pipe diameter of 23.4 mm.
Normally, aluminum pipes need 1.1 mm thickness to ensure strength, 0.8 mm thick with the same strength as AMT alloy realized.
We succeeded in weight reduction while maintaining strength.
The grooved round pipe allowed smooth leg extension and contraction without worry that the legs will rotate idly.
The quick shoe type 3-way pan head is compatible with the DIN standard, so it ensures compatibility with other models of DIN standard quick shoe.
Moreover, it further brushes up the friction control function which was popular also in the conventional model.
We improved the knob part and so on, and equipped newly equipped movie compatible pan head which is easy to use.
It is a new generation standard tripod which combines all the functions necessary as a tripod, such as a urethane grip and a tripod case attachment.
