The Joya sole is made from two pieces of PU, softer on top and firmer below. Both encapsulated by a very thin and durable film (made by 3M).

The softer provides cushioning and the firmer support/stability as the foot strikes. The two combine to provide a cushioned stable rebound effect as you walk. Joya shoe absorb shock and move you forward.

Joya footwear featuring an anti-slip sole (e.g., Ascona, Cruiser) utilize the world-leading Anti-Slip Technology. It is an outsole construction that allows consumers to experience Joya's luxury comfort while they work. Precision Testing Laboratories Inc. of Nashville, TN tested Anti-Slip Technology with outstanding results: a 0.94 gradient on dry surfaces and a 0.88 gradient on wet surfaces. As with all Joya footwear, it is recommended to avoid contact with aggressive fluids (disinfectants, nitro, acids, oil, blood etc.), salts, fats, proteins and other aggressive substances.
