When Scarpa decided to upgrade the wildly popular Zen, it looked at every aspect of the shoe and found ways to make it better. The result is the new and improved Men''s Zen Pro Hiking Shoe. The suede upper has been upgraded with PU-injected reinforcing for improved abrasion-resistance. The cushy EVA midsole is now injected for longer life. The Vibram sole has been upgraded to the Spyder 2, which still offers great stick, but won''t pick up pebbles and gravel. Even the fit has been upgraded with Scarpa''s Sock-Fit DV system for the feel of a running shoe but the sensitivity of an approach shoe. Add to that a durable rubber toe rand, P-Flex footbed, and moisture-wicking Cocona lining, and it''s easy to see how all these upgrades will enhance your next climbing experience.
