Poison Spyder BFHTM II Rear Bumpers are designed for those hardcore four-wheelers who value strength, simplicity and function. This bumper was literally " Built For the Hammers" with the best ground clearance and departure angle possible. It is no wider than the Jeep JK Wrangler's rear body tub, with angled facets to improve its ability to slide over the rocks while still protecting the corner of the tub from drop-offs and ledges. This version of the BFH II features CNC machined high clearance recovery shackle tabs. For the ultimate in strength and durability, pair it with the JK BFHTM II Rear Crossmember. It may also be compatible with the OE tailgate-mounted spare tire carrier, depending on the size of the spare tire used. The JK BFHTM II Rear Bumper includes heavy duty, high clearance Recovery Shackle Tabs. These tabs were CAD designed specifically for use with this bumper, with a high-clearance design to minimize loss of departure angle and to anable sliding off of rocks rather than hanging up on them. The tabs are CNC machined from 1" thick plate steel to provide a secure attachment point for 3/4" recovery shackles (sold separately). Optional Replacement Crossmember If the stock crossmember is removed completely, it may be replaced with the JK BFHTM II Rear Crossmember (note that there are versions of the BFHTM II Crossmember with or without a receiver hitch-this particular version of the BFHTM II Rear Bumper is specificaly designed to work with the non-receiver version-it will not work with the crossmember that has the integrated hitch receiver (p/n 17-17-030).
