Grains in Black Walnut are usually straight but patterns such as curl, crotch, and burl can also sometimes be seen. With a moderate natural lustre that will develop patina shine with use. Colour can sometimes have a grey, purple, or reddish cast. Black Walnut is rated highly in terms of durability and decay resistance. Sustainably harvested in Ohio, Midwest US.
