The new Ridge Merino Wool Balaclava is designed to protect your head, face and neck in the harshest conditions. By covering your skin and sealing the gaps, this piece is guaranteed to keep you warm. It is constructed with our 260g Merino wool fabric for it's natural warmth and breathability, and blended with 5% spandex to ensure it never stretches out. The pattern is cut to be worn under your helmet or knit hat, but it can be worn on its own. It features a mesh panel to ease breathing when worn with the face guard up, and the hinged construction allows it to be worn comfortably down when face protection is not needed and you want some of that cold, crisp air. The ultra-fine Merino wool is soft against the skin and offers 50 UPF sun protection. It also wicks moisture away from your skin to prevent clamminess and naturally resists odor-causing bacteria.
