The ES90 floorstanding speaker can deliver up to 440 watts of peak power for massive volume; its bass is deep, thanks to its dual 8-inch, PolyPlas™ low-frequency transducer; its 4-inch midrange transducer reproduces vocals with extreme fidelity; its 3/4" high- and ultrahigh-frequency transducers can reproduce 40kHz, with our Elliptical Oblate Spheroidal™ (EOS) waveguides spreading the sound evenly throughout the listening space.

JBL engineers designed the ES90 floorstanding loudspeaker to produce impressive, full-range sound from an AVR (audio/video receiver) or amplifier capable of delivering up to 440 watts of power.

The stiff, lightweight PolyPlas material in the ES90’s woofer gives great bass response. What’s more, the woofer and rubber surround create a seamless sound field and minimize distortion, even at high volumes. Together, these materials and devices give you an unmatched audio experience.

The midrange frequencies, where vocals are reproduced, are the heart and soul of great audio – and the area where departures from faithful reproduction are the most noticeable. Since the ES90 midrange driver uses PolyPlas material, which reproduces vocals with incredible accuracy, the voices that you hear from this speaker come out clear and true.

3/4" high- and ultrahigh-frequency tweeters

The ES90’s extremely thin but rigid tweeters deliver accurate, undistorted high-frequency and ultrahigh-frequency response, even when the volume is way up. The end result is full, clear, tight reproduction of even the highest frequencies.

Proprietary Elliptical Oblate Spheroidal (EOS) waveguides

The ES90’s proprietary Elliptical Oblate Spheroidal (EOS) waveguide technology improves the sonic response of your listening environment. You get ideally balanced music, crisp dialogue and smooth audio distribution throughout the listening space. As a result, every seat is the best seat in your home theater.

Straight-Line Signal Path (SSP)

The ideal path from input to components to transducers is a straight line. The ES90 takes the shortest path possible, thanks to its Straight-Line Signal Path™ design. As a result, the speaker preserves the clarity, detail and dynamics of any audio content that it plays.

Computer-optimized bass-reflex port

The ES90’s computer-optimized bass-reflex port extends deep bass response and eliminates unwanted turbulence. You’ll hear low frequencies with complete clarity and minimal noise.

Accurate frequency response

The ES90 never over-emphasizes or under-emphasizes any part of the signals that it receives. With a frequency response of 36Hz – 40kHz, the speaker reproduces a true, full sound range from deep bass tones to ultrahigh frequencies.

Magnetically shielded

You can place the JBL ES90 anywhere in your home theater without worrying that it’ll interfere with your TV picture. It’s magnetically shielded to prevent interference, no matter where you place it.
