Product Description
The innovative magnetic quick release design allows the QV-1 to be inserted and removed from a solid metal quick release baseplate attached to the bottom of your camera. The QV-1 baseplate shares a similar shape to the Manfrotto 501PL quick release plate. Once the QV-1 baseplate is attached to your camera, you can mount directly to supported Manfrotto video fluid heads. If you are using a different system, you can still attach your proprietary tripod plate under the QV-1 baseplate by accessing the available 1/4" threads.

It uses an innovative magnetic quick release that inserts to a Manfrotto 501PL compatible baseplate.
Prevents annoying glare on your screen. It locks in the downward setting, but flips up quickly to be used as a simple sun hood or to access your touch screen LCD.
Magnify your LCD screen image by 2.5x

Customer Questions & Answers

Question: Can the part on the loupe that fits into the baseplate be removed? I\'m thinking to custom mount it to a rig bracket so I can use a cage.
Answer: No you can\'t remove it. The loop is drilled inside plate you can only remove magnet.

Question: is this a 3.5 inch viewer?
Answer: No. It is a 3" x 2" viewer designed to be used with the Blackmagic Pocket.

Question: Can you confirm that it will fit the 3.5inch screen for the bmpcc. I just recieved one and it was not the correct size listed.
Answer: Fits mine. Make sure you have the plate/bracket installed so that the magnet is fully engaged. The plate will NOT be flush with the back of the camera. Then try adjusting the diopter. You may have yours set too far in or out. I will add that this viewfinder does have barrel distortion that clips the corners of the screen.
