Function:

- Highly portable for travel

- Use to detect Scorpions and Bedbugs trail as it glow under Blacklights (UV Lights)

- Crayfish and Centipedes glow under Blacklights for easier identification

- Check credit cards- Discover Cards have “NOVUS”, MasterCard have “M C”, and Visa has V or an eagle in UV ink.

- Check authenticity of banknotes

- As a replacement for Currency Pens as it can be rather unreliable. The pens detect the type of paper a bill is printed on by doing a litmus test with the pen’s ink. This can catch forgeries that are printed photocopies, but if the currency is printed on legit paper (Genuine Currency paper with red and blue fibers in it) this can void the test. The UV test is the most reliable way to verify genuine currency.

- Blacklights are also used to locate other types of stains (often used in hotel cleanliness inspections) e.g. Semen, vaginal fluid, saliva, sweat, feces, vomit, blood, urine (pet and human)

- Can be use In conjunction with Crime Scene Fluorescent Powder, blacklights are used in finding fingerprints

- Use with UV Automotive Dye to detect Automotive coolant A/C Freon Refrigerant Gas Fluids Leaks

- Blacklights are used in discovering Invisible ink used to mark property or in hidden messages

- Plumbers can detect leaks via fluorescent dyes placed in drainage system.

- Some minerals such as gypsum, agate and amber have fluorescence in them which will make them glow under Blacklights
