Frankie did not disappoint! I love the idea of Monster High Dolls. They are such a refreshing change from the traditional Barbie. My daughter loved the blue strand in her hair, her different colored eyes, and removable, different colored earrings. She also loved that her removable boots stay on while playing with her. This was one of my favorite features as a parent. We have lost so many shoes because they fall off too easy. These stay on so good that it actually took my daughter some practice to pop them on and off correctly. The only negative comment she could think of was that on the box Frankie has a stitch across her neck. However, the actual doll does not. She does have plenty of other stitches though. Her favorite feature is that her knees bend, allowing for more creative play. My daughter loves sitting her at the end of tables with her legs bent. We will now be collecting them all! My daughter is 7 and is in LOVE with them. So you could imagine how excited she was to get another one. The first thing we noticed was she did not have poseable arms or hands. This was a pretty big downfall for her. The next thing I noticed was she was made from a different plastic which isn't necessarily a bad thing. And the last difference was with this Frankie compared to others her stitches were not colored in and we're actually molded in her plastic unlike the others where they were just painted on.While this doll is made differently than the other ones I believe it would be a great started for someone who has younger kids that have shown interested in them. This one does not have the hands that can come off or any of the other little pieces that normally come with a monster high doll. My daughter is new to Monster High dolls and thus far, we have been very impressed with all the fine details of each doll. This doll is a pretty light blue color with black and white hair. My daughter has not been as pleased with the hair on this doll as she cannot style it without seeing the scalp as the plugs are much more noticeable due to the doll's color. We also noticed that once again, these shoes are very difficult to get on and off (which can actually also be a positive as the baby can't get them). Overall, this doll kept her attention for an extended time the first play and she has gone back to it many times, which is an indicator that she is a fan.
