1) It\`s difficult to know the pH value and the chlorine level just by looking at the color of the test paper after taking out from a swimming pool or a spa as the color cannot be identified just by human\`s eyes easily. That\`s why we recommend this innovative design for this purpose.

2) This meter can test water pH and CL2 easily.

3) Safety measure range for Chlorine level is from 1.2 to 1.7 ppm and the safety measure range for pH level is from 7.2 to 7.8.

4) Powered supply: 1 x 1.5v AA battery (Not included in the package)

Testing chlorine level Recommended chlorine level for pools and spas is 1.2 to 1.7ppm
1) Position the needle to your "adjustment point"
2) Holding the ET in one hand and the probes in the other， insert the probes into the water up to the black band. Wait until the middle rests for a better chorine reading. (See chorine chart on the back of these instructions for suggested levels and dosages.)
3) Leave the probes in the water and proceed with instructions for testing PH

Testing PH level Recommended PH level for pools and spas is 7.2 to 7.8

1) With the probes still in the water， turn the wheel all the way to "PH" until it clicks (battery must off for PH reading)
2) Wait until the needle rests on the PH reading. (See PH charts on the back of these instructions for suggested levels and remedies.)
3) Gently dry probes and insert into the holder on the side of the ET for storage
