The included 3.1A power adapter is powerful enough to charge a tablet. This 2-in-1 package includes everything you need to ensure that the Audi-A2DP receiver works with the particular configuration of your car, so you can buy with confidence. Compatibility Notes: This package provides you with two options: 1. Using integrated power through the AMI port in your car. 2. Using external power through the cigarette-lighter socket adapter. The integrated power option is available for a limited set of car configurations. It typically requires: 1. Factory-installed navigation (GPS) 2. "MMI 3G High", which is often indicated by an Audi Multimedia Interface (MMI) control knob that has a built-in joystick (a thumb-groove in the center). In addition, if you have a CD-changer, you may or may not be able to use the integrated power option depending on how the CD-changer is connected. The external power option will work with ANY car configuration with an AMI port and an available cigarette-lighter socket.
