Lamp is sturdy and has a quality appearance. Touch option works well. Lamp was easily assembled but had broken bulbs in the box which couldn't be replaced at the Wal Mart store. Had to find replacement bulbs at a local hardware store. The floral shade doesn't allow a lot of light into the room so higher wattage bulbs would be preferred.
