I am Annie, 46 this year, working adult and a mother of 4. Due to work stress, I suffer from insomnia, skin allergy and edema for many years and got diagnosed with cancer in 2014. Doctor urged me to undergo operation to remove the tumor immediately. I have no choice but to accept the fact.. 7 months into chemotherapy and radiotherapy, my health starts deteoriating, immune system decresed and I felt pain in my bones too. On the 21/12/15, I was diagnosed with a Bell’s palsy which is a facial paralysis effect resulting from an inflammation of my right facial nerve.
I couldn’t move the right side of my face and that made it difficult for me to eat, drink, talk, taste, lift my eyebrow and even blinking which is one of my major concern because I might be blinded for life due to constant dryness of the eye. Whenever I bath, I have to use my hands to cover my right eye so that soap doesn't get into it.
During bedtime, I have to tape my eye close. Whenever i eat, I cant taste the food on my right so I had to chew only on the left side which is very tiring and uncomfortable. Sometimes,I might accidentally bite my tongue because it was difficult to control the movement of my mouth. I cant talk to anyone for a long period of time because it becomes very tiring and sometimes I would accidentally drool without realising it. It is definitely not a very enjoyable experience.
After visiting the specialist, they know the diagnosis of the infection however they do not have any cure for it. The specialist mentioned that it’s a virus infection and can be triggered by any type of virus but there is no cure so I have to let my own immune system handle it and she gave me some medicine and a huge load of steroids to take for 6 months to supress the inflammation. To make matters even worst, I was told that 3 outcome may happen, I fully recover, 95% recover or permanently do not recover. Most people usually recover between 6 weeks to 6 months. When I went back home and did my research about the medication given, there was a lot of side effect from it so I decided not to take the medication. Furthermore, my school was starting soon thus having this condition puts me in a big disadvantage because my studies require me to do a lot of oral presentation. I had to recover as soon as possible if not it will affect my grades. During that time, MLG had just launched their Legenze and after hearing all the benefits from it, I decided to give it a try.
On the 1st week of consuming legenze, I felt more energetic and experience heartburn effect which I was told it was a normal. There wasn’t much improvement to my face, I still couldn’t move it.
On the 3rd week of consuming legenze, I started to see some minor improvement such as regaining my taste bud, I can now control the strength of my right eye lid, can move my right jaws . On the 4th week of consuming legenze, I was able feel my right face, I was able to feel more movement on my right face. I can now fully taste my food. I could even smile however I can see that it hasn’t fully recover but atleast 80%.
On the 6th week of consuming legenze, I could safely say that I have recover 95% from Bell’s palsy. My face was almost back to normal. Even everyone around me thinks I fully recovered but if they look closely, my right side of my face is still weaker than the left side.
I feel that Legenze has really helped a lot in my recovery because according to doctors, it usually takes a long time to recover from the virus. I recovered from Bell Palsy in a period of 6-7 weeks compared to the doctor estimate of 6 months. I am glad I was introduced to legenze because the face is an one the important asset of the human body.
