Designed to stop bleeding fast from wounds or lacerations, this 3-inch x 6-foot Chitosan Hemostatic Dressing produced by Sam Medical for Sawyer Products is extremely effective and safe, plus it can be broken down and digested by the body. The large 3-inch x 6-foot bandage can be cut to size as needed. Unlike most hemostatic dressings, Chitosan is made of non-woven, 100% pure chitosan. Independent tests have shown the Chitosan Hemostatic Dressing performs up to 25% better than a leading chitosan gauze. With this increased efficacy, you can use less gauze to achieve the same hemostatic result. Additionally, the unique "tear anywhere" packaging allows quick access to the product for fast application.
