Since the power supply uses two AA batteries, there is no worry about deterioration of sound quality due to battery exhaustion.

As video and external microphone of still camera
Purchased as a stereo external microphone of Panasonic HC-X1000. It was wonderful because I wanted a wide stereo area. In the steel camera, it corresponds to the plug-in power at the position of "AUTO", it interlocks with the power supply of the camera body, so there is no need to save battery, forget to erase, do not worry about wearing, it is a great help. Also, in monaural, it plays a role as a gun mic and can change directivity in the direction of the front so it might be almighty depending on the application.
