The formula was initially created with his wife, who is a physician, in their home to treat Mark's tattoos. But he soon realized there was a lack of options in the aftercare market for products that were free of chemicals. For Instance our product is the only Tattoo Aftercare Industry that is Edible. Once a Eco-Friendly Manufacturer was found, and the product was created. He couldn't keep up with the demand of just his friends wanting aftercare product. Soon after he brought his formula to an organic, food grade factory to put into production so others would also have access. The product is 100% Vegan, Organic, Gluten-Free, Non-GMO and Cruelty Free. In fact, there are as few ingredients as possible. 4-Star Tattoo Butter has been packed into a lip balm container. Everyone's hands are covered in bacteria, this way that bacteria is not spread and rubbed into your open tattoo. 4-Star Tattoo Butter is his second formula. It is slightly more hydrating for drier skin. It also has calendula oil, rosemary extract and vitamin E which are thought by holistic practitioners to have healing properties.
