I was afraid I would have to discontinue use, but continued to use it and after a bit it stopped stinging. It does soften the lines around my eyes and keeps the area fairly moisturized, however, I have used eye creams that are more moisturizing and that is what I am looking for since I have very dry skin there. It is a nice product and would definitely be good for someone with less dryness around the eye area. The tubes come in an envelope with no boxes or protective sealing.
