What is the Gel used for?

- Cools down the skin temperature while using radio frequency/cavitation machines
- Allows the handpiece to move smoothly over the treatment area
- Acts as conductive medium for ultrasound waves and allows them to pass through with little interference

Skin will be heated up a little during the operation of RF/CAV devices. We don’t recommend you use substitutes when using our RF/CAV devices because the most important function of this gel is cooling down the skin temperature. Please note that our IPL device doesn’t require using gel.

This is also a perfect gel for fetal Doppler baby heart rate monitors. However, it is ok to use alternatives (baby oil, Vaseline, moisturizers, etc) when you’re using our fetal Doppler baby heart rate monitors.
