Goomtee First Flush 2016 Oolong Loose Leaf Tea
The fine uncut-twisted leaves of this tea, a blend of olive green and black, give a very fragrant nutty aroma with notes of roasted hazelnut and pine nuts. The cup starts with a chocolate, nutty flavor followed by a pleasantly sweet aftertaste with lingering notes of sweet toasted almonds. A perfect companion for a cool spring evening!
Margaret's Hope First Flush 2016 Black Loose Leaf Tea
This special china, FTGFOP1 grade is a beautiful tea with a nuanced fruity-floral taste profile. Dry leaves are primarily black and brown in color with a fair amount of green leaves and some silvery tips. The deep golden liquor has a delicate citrusy aroma with a well balanced fruity and floral taste profile with notes of orange blossom and tropical fruits. This smooth, subtle-bodied cup with a long fruity finish is sure to delight you.
Rohini Jethi Kupi First Flush 2016 Black Loose Leaf Tea
Beautifully rolled dry leaves of this particular lot are lightly oxidised, with lots of silvery tips. When brewed for 3 minutes we get a light golden-green liquor with a very fresh aroma of spring flowers. The cup has a round, balanced and creamy taste with pleasant hazel nut tones and long sweet and slightly astringent aftertaste.
Castleton First Flush 2016 Black Loose Leaf Tea
Lightly rolled, dark forest green leaves of this first flush give off a medium intensity woody, spicy aroma. When brewed for four minutes we get a bright yellow liquor with a lovely peach like aroma accompanied with sweet vegetal notes. The cup has a well rounded sweetness with notes of peach, berries and lily ending with a touch of fired wood that lingers on for long. In nut shell, this is an excellent tea with a brisk first flush taste without any bitterness.
