She has been using a name brand rub for her arthritis for years and it has finally started to affect her skin. We had tried other "name brand" lotions as well as "anti-itch" creams to help but nothing seemed to. It bothered her so much that she had broken the skin scratching so much. After one application of Equate Severe Dry and Itch Medicated Lotion the itch stopped. A miracle? To her it was! Yes this really does work and has a faint scent of Vick's rub. I too have tried it and it is very soothing, warming and does not leave a "greasy" feel. I have had dry skin for years and scratched my skin crazy at times. I have use all of the name brand expensive itch medications that people can smell you coming from a mile away to no avail. I use prescription medications, moisturizers you name it. I read a few of these reviews one day and bought a bottle. That day I stopped itching. I will not use anything else. great product Walmart.
