K9HSCE is specifically designed for automobiles which backseats have a built-in safety belt housing or any other structure that limits the accessibility to the headrest's stems (the chromed vertical adjustable bars), in some cases these 'obstructions' don't allow the correct positioning and installation of the K9G and K9K
. The extension creates a generous 3' clearance moving the barrier backwards which allows the structural horizontal bar to be securely fitted on to the headrest stems, ensuring safety for both humans and pets.
