They have engineered it for a 3-way carry system, which allows for a traditional two handle briefcase style, as a backpack with stowable straps, or over the shoulder with a removable shoulder strap. The interior has a large main compartment, padded laptop sleeve with velcro closure, zippered storage pocket, pen slots, and open top notebook pocket. The exterior has a zippered notebook pocket and the base has two cinch straps that can hold a rain jacket or those blueprints to your solar powered geodesic dome. Made in USA.
