The Audi R8, called after the Le Mans racing car, is the first Audi super sports car. As the production version of the 2003 Le Mans quattro concept, the all-wheel driven R8 offers innovative and impressive design with bodywork made of light metal throughout. Driven by the 420 bhp high-revving 4.2 litre V8 engine of the Audi RS4, this agile two-seater accelerates to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds and has a top speed of over 300 km/h. There is an optional automatic gearbox available and thanks to the magnetic fluid in the shock absorbers an electronically adjustable suspension system can also be ordered.
