A dainty sculptured leaf and lily stems form the right and left earrings. Translucent green enamel is hand applied to reveal the texture of the leaf. Three lily blooms are expressed in glass pearls, one stationary at the top and two dangle.
Lilies of the Valley earrings are based on the undulating, botanical lines of the Art Nouveau era, a short 20 years, ending in 1915. It brought design innovations that weren''t derived from any previous style. It stressed art and hand fabrication over precious materials and machine production.
