This light is prettier than the picture shows. It's not the bright gold but a soft gold and when the light is on the humming bird design is just lovely. Has good weight not flimsy or cheap looking like some others are. Just a touch on any of the metal turns on or off. Replaced with 3 new bulbs at recommended wattage and lamp lasted 1 hour. After that the touch feature stopped working, and our only option was to plug the lamp in if we wanted light, and unplug it when we didn't. Since the purchase was for a 90-year old woman for whom the touch feature would have been a great help, the lamp was a waste. Very disappointing purchase.
