These beautifully seamstress sewn, unique Yoga/ Pilates Mat carriers, have vibrant colors and patterns. No two are ever alike. Seamstresses in small villages in the West Bengal and Odisha regions of India hand sew these carriers using the Kantha stitch. This is a rapidly disappearing art form. The Kantha stitch is a running stitch which imparts a quilt like appearance to the material. It also adds strength and durability to the fabrics, which are surplus Sari materials of the highest quality which the artisans acquire as the base material. The carrier is 28 inches long, lined, with a top zipper with two pulls, one outside pocket with concealed zipper and comes with a shoulder sling. They will standout in any setting and because they are 100% cotton, they are breathable and hand washable for long life, and these colors are colorfast.
