These Torpedo Boats are of the first generation of those fast black German ships. These black torpedo boats are to be seen on many pictures of the Imperial German Navy. This ship type was missing in the HMV range for quite some time and they're important not only for diorama builders. However these three models are pretty challenging - they're highly detailed, but it's really worth building them. When all details are attached, these little black boats show their features. Real fun for experienced paper modelers. The model highlights: - highly detailed cardmodel
- 3 models included
- skins for 5 different ships
- extra lifeboats with sails
- many details on deck
- well-arranged 3D instructions
- with wooden pier
The instructions are clearly arranged and detailed - we would expect nothing less from Udo Kallina. On top of the three models with five different possible variants (skins for S33, S34, S35, S40, and S41 are included) a wooden pier is in the kit as well. The little lifeboat can be built either on board or as waterline sailing boat. Of course these details are calling for a diorama. Even though the model can be built using just the model kit, we advise to use the extra available Lasercut Set. Those fine cut parts make detailing the model a lot easier and those filigree railings and mesh help to built some real eye-catcher. Building these little black boats is a lot of fun - especially when with adding more and more details the model gets to life. 0 |
