ABS material handle and shorter microfibre hair for better cleaning. About 300k instead of 310k microfibre hair that is only 0.045mm thick. Reducing about 10k microfibre hair to keep the production cost of both version 1 and 2 as close as possible. It is also much easier to dry the brush compare to version 1. 

ABS combines the strength and rigidity of acrylonitrile and styrene polymers with the toughness of polybutadiene rubber. While the cost of producing ABS is roughly twice the cost of producing polystyrene, it is considered superior for its hardness, gloss, toughness, and electrical insulation properties. 

 ABS polymers are resistant to aqueous acids, alkalis, concentrated hydrochloric and phosphoric acids, alcohols and animal, vegetable and mineral oils.

ABS is a higher grade plastic material, Lego Bricks are made of ABS. 

Test of brush effectiveness

As such brush are ultra soft thus some might be skeptical towards its effectiveness, a simple way of proving its effectiveness is using a permanent marker like Zebra marker to draw a line on your arms and let it dry completely then try washing the ink with just soap and water, you will not be able to remove the ink no matter how hard you rub your arms using just soap and water. But if you use the pore brush, you will be able to easily remove the ink with very gentle cleansing. There will not have any discomfort while using this brush to remove the ink left by the permanent marker. How is this possible? Cause the pore brush will gently scrub away your dead skin cell that the ink is draw on. As the brush is meant to be ultra gentle thus is it suitable for daily uses, just use this brush everytime you wash your face to get a better cleaning effect. Olay brush and clarisonic brush sure will provide a better 1 time cleaning effect as their are more aggressive than this type of pore brush. You can feel it when you use those brush vs such pore brush. Common sense also says so.
